LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026-27, The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2026, offered by the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation, is a financial assistance program aimed at supporting talented and deserving students from economically weaker sections. Eligibility LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026-27

 

 

To apply for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2026, students must meet the eligibility requirements under their respective scholarship category.

General Scholarship – After Class 12/Diploma

Applicants must:

  • Have passed the Class 12 examination or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA during the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26.
  • Have secured admission in the 2026-27 academic year to pursue the first year of any of the following courses:
    • Medicine – MBBS, BAMS, BHMS or BDS
    • Engineering – BE, B.Tech or B.Arch
    • Graduation in any discipline
    • Integrated courses
    • Diploma or equivalent courses in any field
    • Vocational courses offered by government-recognised colleges or institutions
    • Courses offered through Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs)
  • Have a parent or guardian with an annual income of not more than ₹4,50,000.

Special Scholarship – After Class 10

Applicants must:

  • Have passed the Class 10 examination or its equivalent with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA during the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26.
  • Have taken admission in the 2026-27 academic year for the first year of Intermediate, the 10+2 pattern, vocational or diploma courses offered by government-recognised colleges or institutions, or courses at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
  • Have a parent or guardian with an annual income of not more than ₹4,50,000 per year.

Important Notes:

  • Preference will be given to applicants from lower-income families.
  • The scholarship is intended for students pursuing their first undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, including integrated courses.
  • Students pursuing postgraduate education are not eligible under this scheme.

How to Apply?

Eligible students can submit their application online by following these steps:

Selection Criteria

The selection of scholarship recipients will be based primarily on merit, while also taking into account applicable eligibility requirements and gender considerations.

 

Terms and Conditions
  • Students receiving scholarships from other trusts or institutions are generally not eligible. However, students receiving government-funded scholarships for SC or ST students may still apply.
  • Engineering students admitted directly into the second year through lateral entry after completing a diploma may be eligible, provided they scored at least 60% marks in their preceding diploma examination.
  • Students pursuing education through correspondence, part-time, evening or night classes, or open universities are not eligible.
  • Students pursuing CA, CS, ICWA or similar self-study courses are also not eligible.
  • Medical and Engineering students must score at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous annual examination to continue receiving the General Scholarship. They must also pass all subjects in their semesters.
  • Students pursuing undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and other disciplines must obtain at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous annual examination to continue receiving the scholarship. They must also clear all subjects.
  • Scholarship recipients must maintain regular attendance as required by their respective school, college or university.
  • The scholarship may be suspended or cancelled if a student violates any of the scheme’s terms and conditions.
  • Students found to have submitted false information or forged documents will have their scholarship cancelled immediately. LIC Divisional Administration may also require the student to repay any scholarship amount already received.
